| About our Complimentary Layaway Services |
The Oakmeadow Group Complimentary Layaway Service allows for any pyhsical item(s) on the site to be reserved
with a simple, non-refundable down-payment - thereby ensuring you are able to receive the exact item(s) you wished
to acquire.
Any order with a combined value greater than $200 is eligible for enrollment simply by sending the down-payment
followed by a certain number of months to pay the balance based on the initial cost of your item(s) as follows:
The initial cost is only the purchase price, and does not include any applicable taxes or fees such as shipping and
handling charges.
So, for example, if you wanted to purchase a trunk priced at $615, you would need to place a $150 non-refundable
down-payment in order to reserve it, and then have three months to pay the balance (including any/all taxes and
shipping and handling charges, which are added to the final payment.)
Another example would be that you wish to purchase three trunks at the same time which are priced at $310, $335,
and $400 respectively. Add those three items together and you end up with an initial price of $1,045. So you’d need
to place a $300 non-refundable down-payment in order to reserve all three, and then have five months to pay the
balance (including any/all taxes and shipping and handling charges.)
If you wish to place an order over $3,500 on layaway, (I don’t see that happening, but hey, you never know!) then
please contact us with the details so we can tailor the terms to the total amount.
There are NO EXTRA CHARGES OR FEES of any sort for utilizing this service, so the total cost of your item(s) will
not be affected in any way. However, if full payment is not received in the allotted time, (or the order cancelled by the
customer) the entire down-payment is forfeited and the entire order will be cancelled unless a specific
accommodation is made by the Oakmeadow Group. Any and all payments made after the down-payment shall be
returned if requested in writing or via email within three months of the final payment due date.
