| Through our own research and decades of experience we've been able to compile a LOT of information, so if you'd like to find out exactly what your trunk is worth or everything we can tell you about it without stopping by our shop then here you go! (Please note that if you bring your trunk to us or ship it down for restoration/etc, then there is no charge, and if you call then we'll tell you to either drop by or email!) |
| Due to the sheer amount of time it takes to comb through all of the pictures and information, we are now charging a one-time fee for online valuations. The only general exception to this is for research or educational type-things. (For which we'll need bona fides.) Anyway here are the details! |
| What YOU Send Us: |
- Clear pictures of both sides, bottom, top, inside, trays, and any markings
your trunk might have. - Dimensions.
- A very short general description if you think it's necessary.
- A complete list of any significantly damaged or missing pieces.
- Close-ups of any of the above.
- Any other information we could find useful. (Documents, other providence,
etc.) - The One-Time $20 fee. (Paid via Cash, Money Order, or Paypal below.)

- A complete set of median values for your trunk, including General, Antique,
Boutique, (Restored, Unrestored, & anything in between.) Auction, Online
Auction, and General Online. (And right about now you're seeing why this
takes us so long!) - A complete run-down on your trunk, including anything noteworthy
collector-wise, dating as best we can, general information including other
examples if needed/we have them, and just about everything else we could
ever tell you. (Last few were four to five pages long...) - Advice on whether it's worth having it restored or if should it be left
intact/alone, (Believe it or not most times we say leave it alone.) and the
reasons behind that. - A quote on letterhead (if requested for specific purposes only.)
| Generally the entire process - lots of times we'll end up writing back for more information or to clarify something - takes only a few business hours too, so you'll get your information VERY fast!
