We make every effort to accurately describe our merchandise. We strongly recommend that you email us
with any questions or requests before purchasing. (This includes requests for further pictures and detail
shots.) When e-mailing, please include the name of the trunk(s) you are interested in.
We wish for you to be happy with your purchase, and you may return it in the same condition it was

However, we once again recommend that  you ask any and all questions before purchasing, as any and
all shipping/handling charges are the sole responsibility of the purchaser and shall not be refunded.
Our major goal upon finding this one was to preserve as much history as
possible, while still leaving it usable. (The mold in the bottom
notwithstanding.)

To that end, we worked hard to preserve its original canvas and look in
entirety, and were able to leave the Duguid Brothers label and top intact
before finding a subtle fabric which would match the old parchment look.

The clamps of this trunk are proprietary, (and so extremely rare) and the
construction - as with any Duguid Brothers trunk of this time - is superb,
making this an extremely rare, if not very understated, trunk in its own right.
